The three Burntide companion guide volumes

Quick answer

The manufacturer produced three companion volumes to accompany Burntide: The Vinegar Window, The Steady Embers and The Companion Day. They are described here from their own covers. The supplier lists no bonuses and no bonus prices, so this website makes no claim that any of them is included with an order.

What each volume says, what the panel supports, and one thing all three covers state that the label does not.

Said before anything else

What this page is and is not

This page is a description, not an offer. The pack supplied to this desk lists no bonuses and no bonus values. Nothing here claims that any volume ships with an order, nothing here prices one, and nothing here uses them as a reason to buy. What is included with an order is decided at the checkout, by the seller, and the checkout page is where to read it.

The three covers are genuine Burntide artwork. Everything said about each volume below is read off the cover itself, and where this desk does not know something, it says so rather than filling the gap.

Companion volume

Volume One: The Vinegar Window

Volume One

The Vinegar Window

A Gentle Guide to When, How, and Why Apple Cider Vinegar Works Best

What the cover says. The cover sets out two ideas. The first is the “vinegar window”, described as a pre-meal moment aligned with the body’s natural rhythm. The second is “rooted in tradition, backed by science”. Underneath it reads “Science-backed. Tradition-rooted. A daily ritual for digestion, glucose balance, and calm.”

What the panel supports. The pre-meal timing is consistent with the jar, which tells you to take a gummy about 30 minutes before a meal, and consistent with how the vinegar research dosed vinegar. What the volume does not do, because no cover does, is put an amount beside any of it. The trials behind the “backed by science” line used liquid vinegar at 15 to 30 mL a day. The panel on the jar prints one blend at 525 mg for two ingredients together, and that difference is the whole subject of this website.

Volume Two: The Steady Embers

Volume Two

The Steady Embers

A Simple Guide to BHB, Backup Energy, and Why Your Body Was Built for Both Fuels

What the cover says. The most technical of the three. It describes beta-hydroxybutyrate as “more than fuel”, a signalling molecule supporting cellular resilience, gene expression and healthy ageing. It carries a blood ketone curve against hours of fasting, credited to Cahill Jr., 2006, a glucose-versus-ketones comparison, and a panel headed “Three BHB Salts. One Smart Formula.” naming calcium, magnesium and sodium BHB with a role beside each.

What the panel supports. The signalling claim is real and is where the research on beta-hydroxybutyrate has moved: Newman and Verdin make exactly that argument. The fasting curve is also real, and the Cahill paper it credits is a genuine review of fuel metabolism in starvation. Both describe ketones the body makes for itself during fasting, which is a different thing from ketones swallowed in a gummy. The cover reads “Safe. Studied. Effective.” and the studies it points at used drinks measured in grams. The panel does not say how many milligrams of salt are in a serving at all.

Companion volume

Volume Three: The Companion Day

Volume Three

The Companion Day

Morning, Midday, and Evening Habits That Work Alongside Your Wellness Routine

What the cover says. The least technical and the most useful. Twenty-four habits split across three parts of the day: six for the morning, including anchoring a circadian rhythm, hydrating, stepping into natural light and moving gently; six for midday, including a movement break, a walk after meals and consistent hydration; and six for the evening, including dimming lights, unplugging and preparing for restful sleep. A ring diagram summarises all of them.

What the panel supports. Nothing on this cover is a product claim and nothing on it requires the product. Walking after a meal, sleeping properly and getting daylight are the things that actually move the measurements a weight-support gummy is bought for, and they cost nothing. The honest reading of this volume is that it describes the routine in which a supplement is a small component, which is also this website’s reading of the product.

Audience

One thing all three covers say that the label does not

All three covers carry the same line in the same place: FOR WOMEN OVER 30. Volume Two goes further and names perimenopause.

The jar does not say that. The Burntide label reads “Adults, take one (1) gummy daily”, and the caution paragraph addresses anyone under a physician’s care, anyone taking medication and anyone pregnant or nursing. It sets no sex and no age beyond 18 and over. This website follows the label, which is why the who-it-is-for page is written for adults rather than for a demographic.

Neither document is wrong. They are doing different jobs: a label states who may take a product, and a marketing volume states who it is being sold to. The gap between the two is worth noticing because it is where most confusion about a supplement starts, and because a reader who buys on the strength of a cover addressed to them may reasonably expect the jar to be formulated for them. Nothing on this panel is.

The practical version. If you are a man over 18 reading these covers and wondering whether the product is for you, the answer from the label is yes, on the same terms as anyone else. If you are a woman over 30 reading them and expecting a formulation aimed at perimenopause, the answer from the panel is no: it is apple cider vinegar and three ketone salts in a 525 mg blend, the same as it would be on any other jar.

Against the label

The three volumes side by side

VolumeWhat it is aboutHow it stands against the panel
Volume OneApple cider vinegar, timing and a pre-meal windowConsistent with the label's directions. No amount stated anywhere
Volume TwoBHB as fuel and as a signalling moleculeMechanism is real and cited. The amount in the jar is unpublished and, by this desk's arithmetic, in the tens of milligrams
Volume ThreeTwenty-four daily habits across morning, midday and eveningNo product claim at all. The habits work whether or not you buy anything

Read together, the three volumes are better than the average supplement bonus, which is usually a padded PDF. Volume Three in particular is a reasonable list of habits and would be reasonable advice with no jar attached.

What none of the three does is put a number beside an ingredient. That is not a criticism of a cover, which is not the place for one. It is the reason the panel page exists, and the reason this website leads with the panel rather than with the marketing.

Gaps, printed

Four things this desk does not know about the volumes

Four things, stated plainly so nobody has to guess.

  • Whether any volume ships with an order. The pack lists no bonuses. The checkout page is where that is decided and where it is stated.
  • What any volume is worth. No value has been supplied to this desk, and a seller-set figure on a digital guide is not a market price. None is printed here.
  • Whether they are digital or printed. Not stated on the covers or in the pack.
  • Who wrote them. No author is named on any cover. They carry the Burntide wordmark and nothing else.

If the checkout you are handed to says something different from this page about any of the four, the checkout is the one to believe: it is the seller and this desk is not. Questions about what arrived in an order go to the order desk on +1 (631) 016-1313, which can see orders. Questions about this page go to [email protected], which cannot.
