Burntide Supplement Facts: The Full Panel Explained
One Burntide serving is one 2.5 g gummy, with 30 gummies in each jar.
Each gummy has 8 calories, 2 g carbohydrate, 2 g sugars, sodium 2.5 mg, calcium 1 mg, magnesium 0.75 mg and a 525 mg Proprietary Blend of apple cider vinegar and BHB salts.
For what each one is, see the ingredients.
This page reads the panel top to bottom, explains what every symbol means, and says which numbers you can act on and which you cannot.

The Burntide panel as printed
| Row | Amount per serving | % Daily Value | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Calories | 8 | – | The whole gummy, not the blend |
| Total Carbohydrate | 2 g | 1% | Percent Daily Value on a 2,000 calorie diet |
| Total Sugars | 2 g | † | No Daily Value has been established for total sugars |
| Includes Added Sugars | 1 g | 2% | Half the sugar in the gummy is added sugar |
| Sodium | 2.5 mg | 0% | Rounds to zero per cent of the 2,300 mg Daily Value |
| Calcium | 1 mg | 0% | Rounds to zero per cent of the 1,300 mg Daily Value |
| Magnesium | 0.75 mg | 0% | Rounds to zero per cent of the 420 mg Daily Value |
| Proprietary Blend | 525 mg | † | Apple Cider Vinegar, BHB Calcium/Magnesium/Sodium (B-hydroxybutyrate salts) |
Serving size is 1 Gummy (2.5 g per gummy). Servings per container is 30. The panel is dated REV 04/24 in its bottom right corner, which is the label revision rather than a manufacturing date.
Below the box the label prints its Other Ingredients line, the distributor address in Largo, Florida, an Assembled In The USA flag, the suggested use paragraph, the caution paragraph and the FDA statement. Nothing else appears on the jar.
The two symbols on the Burntide panel, explained
Two symbols do a lot of work on this panel and neither is explained on the jar beyond a single footnote line.
The asterisk attaches to “%Daily Value” in the column header, and the footnote reads “Percent Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet”. It is a statement about the reference diet, nothing more.
The dagger appears twice, beside Total Sugars and beside the Proprietary Blend, and the footnote reads “Daily Value Not Established”. It means no reference intake exists for that row. For total sugars that is a labelling technicality, since added sugars immediately below it does carry a Daily Value. For the proprietary blend it is simply true: there is no recommended daily intake of apple cider vinegar or of beta-hydroxybutyrate.
What the dagger is not. It is not a warning, it is not a footnote about effectiveness, and it does not mean the ingredient is unregulated. It means the FDA has set no Daily Value for it. The FDA labelling guide sets out when it has to be used.
Why three rows on the Burntide panel read 0%
Three rows on this panel carry a percentage of zero, and a reader new to supplement labels usually reads that as an error or as a trick. It is neither.
A Daily Value is a reference intake for a whole day. Sodium’s is 2,300 mg, calcium’s is 1,300 mg and magnesium’s is 420 mg for adults. The amounts on this label are 2.5 mg, 1 mg and 0.75 mg. Divide each by its reference intake and you get 0.1 per cent, 0.08 per cent and 0.18 per cent. Rounding rules take all three to zero.
So why declare them at all? Because they are present, and a label that declares a nutrient has to state how much. These three are the mineral halves of the ketone salts inside the blend. Calcium beta-hydroxybutyrate is calcium plus a ketone; when the ketone salt goes into the gummy, the calcium comes with it and has to be counted. The NIH calcium fact sheet and the magnesium fact sheet both set out the reference intakes if you want the underlying numbers.
The practical reading: Burntide is not a mineral supplement and does not pretend to be. If you need calcium or magnesium, this jar contributes nothing meaningful toward it.
What the Burntide mineral rows imply about the blend
The panel gives three mineral weights and one blend total. Those two facts together constrain how much ketone salt can be in the jar.
| Salt named on the panel | Formula | Molecular weight | Mineral by mass | Mineral declared | Implied salt weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Calcium beta-hydroxybutyrate | Ca(C₄H₇O₃)₂ | 246.27 | 16.3% | 1 mg | about 6.2 mg |
| Magnesium beta-hydroxybutyrate | Mg(C₄H₇O₃)₂ | 230.50 | 10.5% | 0.75 mg | about 7.1 mg |
| Sodium beta-hydroxybutyrate | NaC₄H₇O₃ | 126.09 | 18.2% | 2.5 mg | about 13.7 mg |
Those three implied weights add to about 27 mg, carrying about 23 mg of beta-hydroxybutyrate between them. Subtract that from 525 mg and the remainder, about 498 mg, would be apple cider vinegar solids.
None of those four numbers is on the label. They are arithmetic from numbers that are, and the working is printed above so you can check it or throw it out. The chain rests on one assumption: that all the declared calcium, magnesium and sodium comes from the ketone salts. Sodium citrate on the Other Ingredients line also contributes sodium, which makes the sodium step the weakest of the three, and it is the largest of the three.
Why publish an inference at all on a website whose whole method is to print only what the label prints? Because 525 mg on its own gives a reader no sense of scale, and the alternative to arithmetic here is a shrug. Shown honestly, with its assumption on the table, it turns one opaque figure into a range a person can reason about. It also happens to be unflattering to the product, which is the direction this desk errs in.
The Burntide Other Ingredients line
Corn Syrup, Purified Water, Pure Cane Sugar, Apple Pectin, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Tapioca Starch, Natural Flavors, Beet Root Powder.
- Corn Syrup. The bulk sweetener and the body of the gummy. It is also the reason the carbohydrate row reads 2 g.
- Purified Water. Present in every gummy; most of it is driven off during setting.
- Pure Cane Sugar. The second sweetener, and the reason the panel prints 1 g of added sugars.
- Apple Pectin. The gelling agent. It is what makes this a chewable rather than a gelatin gummy, and it is why the label can be read as vegetarian.
- Citric Acid. Sourness and pH control. It is not the vinegar and it is not an active.
- Sodium Citrate. A buffer that works with the citric acid. It also contributes sodium, which is part of why the sodium row is not zero.
- Tapioca Starch. Dusting starch, so the gummies do not weld together in the jar.
- Natural Flavors. A legal category, not an ingredient. The label does not say which flavours, and no supplement label has to.
- Beet Root Powder. The colour. Beet root is why the gummies are red rather than the amber of the label.
Nine entries, listed in descending order of weight as the rules require. Corn syrup first means corn syrup is the largest single component of a Burntide gummy, larger than the 525 mg blend. That is ordinary for a gummy supplement and it is not stated anywhere on the front of the jar.
Nothing on this list is a caffeine source, a stimulant, a gelatin, a gluten grain or a dairy derivative, which is what makes the vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free seals on the jar defensible. The testing and quality page explains each seal, including the two that this desk pushes back on.
What the Burntide label tells you to do, quoted exactly
The label prints two paragraphs under the panel that are worth reading before you buy rather than after.
Suggested use, verbatim. “Adults, take one (1) gummy daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Take approximately 30 minutes before your morning or afternoon meal with a full glass of water.”
Caution, verbatim. “If you are under a physician’s care or taking medication, consult with your healthcare professional before using this product. If you are pregnant or nursing, or have a known medical condition, do not use without consulting a physician.” The label also prints, in capitals, “Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use if safety seal is damaged or missing. Store in a cool, dry place.”
Note what the suggested use does and does not do. It ties the serving to a meal, which is consistent with how the vinegar research dosed vinegar, and it caps the amount at one gummy. It does not say to take it for a minimum period, and it does not promise a timescale. The how-to-take page deals with the practical questions the paragraph leaves open.
What the Burntide label cannot tell you
A supplement label is a bounded document. It is worth being explicit about what this one cannot tell you, because those gaps are where most disappointment in this category comes from.
- How the 525 mg splits. Not published. The only hard constraint is the ceiling.
- Which apple cider vinegar preparation is used. Dried vinegar, vinegar powder and a vinegar extract are not the same material, and the label distinguishes none of them.
- Acetic acid content. The number that actually matters for vinegar is not on the jar in any form.
- Whether the batch was assayed. No certificate of analysis has been supplied to this website, and lot BUR-26/BU-8141 with reference BUR-8141-26-BU is a production record rather than a laboratory one.
- Who formulated it. The formulated-by seal on the jar names nobody.
- What “natural flavors” are. A legal category. No supplement label has to itemise it.
None of those gaps is unique to Burntide and several are industry-standard. They are listed because a page that reads a label closely should be willing to say where the reading runs out. The NIH consumer guidance on dietary supplements makes the same general point about what labels can and cannot establish.
Questions about the Burntide panel
What does the Burntide Supplement Facts panel print?
Serving size 1 gummy at 2.5 g, 30 servings a jar, 8 calories, 2 g total carbohydrate, 2 g total sugars of which 1 g is added sugars, sodium 2.5 mg, calcium 1 mg, magnesium 0.75 mg, and one Proprietary Blend at 525 mg.
What does the dagger symbol mean on the Burntide panel?
Daily Value Not Established. It appears beside Total Sugars and beside the Proprietary Blend and means no reference intake has been set for that row.
Why do the Burntide mineral rows show 0% Daily Value?
Because 2.5 mg of sodium, 1 mg of calcium and 0.75 mg of magnesium all round to zero per cent against Daily Values of 2,300 mg, 1,300 mg and 420 mg.
Does the Burntide panel say how much apple cider vinegar is in a gummy?
No. Apple cider vinegar is declared inside a 525 mg proprietary blend together with three BHB salts, and no split is published.
What is the Burntide label revision?
REV 04/24, printed in the bottom right corner of the Supplement Facts box.
What is the first ingredient in a Burntide gummy by weight?
Corn syrup. The Other Ingredients line is in descending order of weight and corn syrup is first, which puts it above the 525 mg blend.
